FRANKLIN COUNTY
The ECU HEAT SHARE program provides one 50-gallon fuel delivery (or equivalent in solid fuel) per househould per heating season (November 1-March 31). Oil, kerosene, wood, pellets, propane are all delivered by the applicant's regular fuel vendor. Each applicant fills in the "$50 for Heat" application with needed information, attaches a $50 money order payable to thefuel vendor, and mails or delivers the form to Western Maine Community Action (WMCA) for processing. A delivery is made as soon as the fuel vendor is in the neighborhood again. The balance due for that delivery is paid by ECU HEAT, using funds raised by FAEM for that purpose.
LIVERMORE, LIVERMORE FALLS, AND JAY
St. Rose is partnering with Western Maine Community Action (WMCA) to disburse the funds in the St. Rose FOOD, FUEL AND FIBER FUND. Applicants can call Western Maine Community Action (WMCA) and ask for the JAY ECU HEAT SHARE. These funds will provide fuel as explained above for Franklin County.
All Franklin County and Tri-Town residents are able to request non-fuel assistance such as food, clothing, or gas assistance at any time. If you are facing an impending crisis by not being able to make a utility or rent payment, please contact us.
We welcome your donations to support this ongoing fund.
